Orchid V has virtual MIDI ports, allowing you to easily record MIDI channels from the plug in, or standalone software app.
First, turn on Settings > Audio & MIDI > Virtual MIDI outputs, then choose which outputs to open:
- UI keyboard: the notes you play
- Performance: the performed chord (strum, arp, pattern)
- Chord: the chord notes
- Bass: the bass notes
Create separate MIDI tracks in your DAW, and assign each Orchid V input to its own MIDI track. MIDI tracks with a MIDI output on channel 1 will route to the treble engine, and those on channel 2 to the bass engine.
Arm your tracks, and begin recording.
