If you created your own patch of a Treble sound, with your Orchid connected to your computer, click the save icon in Pistil to open a menu allowing you to choose which User Sound slot to save to on your Orchid. (You'll need a minimum of Orchid firmware 3.84 and Pistil 0.3.3.)
If you downloaded a patch of a Treble sound, follow these steps:
- Copy the patch (which is an .inc file) into the patches folder on your computer.
- For Mac, open Finder and in the navigation bar, click Go >> Go to Folder. Navigate to
/users/YOURNAMEHERE/Music/Telepathic Instruments/Pistil/Pistil Sounds/Treble. - For Windows, open File Explorer and navigate to
C:/Users/YOURNAMEHERE/Music/Telepathic Instruments/Pistil/Pistil Sounds/Treble. - Note: these folders may not exist until you create your own custom Pistil Sound and save it on your computer.
- For Mac, open Finder and in the navigation bar, click Go >> Go to Folder. Navigate to
- If you had Pistil open already, close it and reopen it. With your Orchid connected to your computer and Pistil recognizing it as connected: load the patch by clicking the sound name field in the top left, selecting "Pistil Sounds", and then selecting the patch in the drop-down list.
- With your Orchid connected to your computer, click the save icon in Pistil to open a menu allowing you to choose which User Sound slot to save to on your Orchid.
