On Orchid, press the orange Bass encoder to enable or disable the bass engine, which plays a bass note whenever you play a chord.
If you press and hold the Bass encoder, you’ll see a list of settings that change the behaviour of the bass engine.
If you press and hold the Bass encoder, you’ll see a list of settings that change the behaviour of the bass engine.
- 'Unison' will play bass notes and treble notes in unison when playing single notes.
- 'Bass single notes' will play only bass notes when playing single notes, and the treble engine will play only when playing chords.
- 'Solo' will mute the treble engine entirely, even when playing chords.
To change the bass sound, scroll the Bass encoder left or right — just like the Sound encoder.
